Audio - Viplob Pratik reciting his own poems!

Viplob Pratik is a rare poet whose works have been gaining momentum in recent years, as he has allowed the fullness of life to find expression in his writing.
He is also a songwriter who is guided by deeply felt humanitarian concerns more than political ideologies.
A film director turned film critic turned assistant editor at Himal Khabarpatrika and then editor of Salil and the Copy editor of Y! Magazine, Pratik has written nationally acclaimed songs including ‘Har Raat Sapanima’ which received 3 awards at Hits FM Music Awards in 2000.
He is one of the founders of Gallery Nine and his latest work is Abhaya & the Steam Injun’s new album Nayan, Durga Lal Shrestha’s book translation and two songs on peace released recently by Kutumba.
The poems in this post were recited by Viplob Pratik at Acoustic Friday, Bakery Cafe, Pulchowk, Kathmandu, Nepal, held on December 26, 2008.
