Only few open area of Kathmandu where people
can hang around and wish for little fresh air in the capital is now
going to renovate the park with new features.
Good news for those who hang out at Ratna Park, which is almost
always littered with garbage and full of vendors. The oldest
recreational area in the heart of the Capital city will soon be free
of garbage and vendors.
The lost beauty of Ratna Park will be restored with the construction
of a wall in the southern part and a footpath in the northern edge.
If all goes well with the plan of the Kathmandu Metropolitan City
(KMC), the public place will once again glitter with plants,
fountains and clean ponds. [more]
